Kampala Auto Sourcing helps buyers in Uganda find, price, and import vehicles from trusted overseas exporters in Japan and the UAE. We started with a simple frustration: it's hard to know what a car actually costs once duty, VAT, levies, and clearance are added — long before you've committed to anything.
What we do
We act as a broker and sourcing coordinator, not a seller. That distinction matters:
- We help you identify the right vehicle from our exporter network.
- We calculate the true landed cost — CIF, import duty, VAT, withholding tax, infrastructure levy, and UNBS inspection — before you commit.
- We coordinate with a licensed clearing agent so your vehicle is cleared, inspected, and registered correctly.
- You transact directly with the exporter for the vehicle itself; we never hold your money or take ownership of a vehicle.
Why it works this way
Keeping the vehicle transaction between you and the exporter directly means lower risk for both sides, and a clearer picture of where every dollar goes. Our fee covers the work of sourcing, calculating, and coordinating — not the vehicle itself.
